Michael found yoga on a street corner in Montreal in 1998 after a chance meeting with an instructor. Since his first class he has been sharing yoga and its many benefits with friends and family. After deepening his own practice through living at the Sivananda ashram for the teacher training and later advanced programs he began to teach yoga regularly.
Classes are taught according to traditional Hatha yoga style, focusing on breath, asana’s (postures) and relaxation. Join Michael as he follows the teachings of Swami Sivananda to create a comforting practice. Students will learn to let go of physical and mental stress from daily life and work towards creating a state of calm focus and mental clarity in all situations. Michael believes yoga can be made accessible to everyone and teaches classes to children, seniors, and individuals of all skill and fitness levels.
