About Arundhati Baitmangalkar

Arundhati came to yoga after six years of teaching Bollywood dance in India. She took to yoga instantly and began to pursue a long and rewarding journey through her practice that now flows over onto her many loving students. Before moving to the Seattle area in October 2012, she grew up and lived in South India. Her thirst for the knowledge and authenticity of yoga led her to some of the best schools and yoga masters in India. She completed her 500 hour Teacher Training under Yogacharya Bharath Shetty from Yoga Indea Mysore, and an additional 200 hour training from Atmayaan in Bangalore. Arundhati has also spent time learning from the legendary Geeta Iyengar (late B.K.S Iyengar’s daughter), Sharmila Mahesh (late Sri. K Pattabhi Jois’ granddaughter) as well as internationally renowed senior Iyengar yoga teacher H.S Arun. From the East to the West, she brings with her a truly holistic practice that combines Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga practice not limited to anybody.

With her 10+ years of teaching experience, Arundhati’s growing success is attributed to her unique background of training, and her ability to bring classical yoga into the modern world effortlessly. Helping teachers and students alike not only benefit from the eternal wisdom of yoga, but also ensuring that it becomes an integral part of their being; thereby, living out her dharma – to pass yoga on properly for the generations to come.
