Erin Ehlers: E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, YACEP, LMT
I’m a yoga teacher, a yoga therapist and a licensed massage therapist.
I educate yoga students and yoga teachers in movement science and yoga philosophy, so you can develop a relationship with your practice that’s relevant and useful to your life, your needs.
I’ve taught yoga for 20 years. In these decades of devotion to the practice, I’ve been a hustling freelancer, a studio owner and now connect with many students online. You’ll find me teaching in-person whenever I can, and I love putting the online names to in-person faces.
In my classes, it’s evident that I value understanding more than achievement. You’ll see that I teach movement skills as a means of doing a yoga pose. A modern understanding of movement does not oppose the philosophical traditions of yoga, rather these two elements combine to create deep self-inquiry.
I consider myself to be an educator, so my classes are meant to inform and illuminate. My plank poses will refurbish your upper back, my balance poses will set your glutes aflame. Humor is my secret ingredient for teaching.
