About Addie deHilster

An experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and teacher trainer, Addie designed and leads the 200-Hour Teacher Training at Spiral Path Yoga Center. She previously co-developed and co-taught the TheraYoga 200-Hour teacher training. She is also the author of a two-module Yin Yoga teacher training, which she teaches online and in multiple locations, graduating more than 100 new Yin Yoga teachers to date. Addie began her yoga practice in 1998 and further deepened into her meditation practice over a decade ago. Her curiosity led her to a 200-Hour yoga teacher training with Kelly Wood at Karuna Yoga. With that experience, the spark of interest grew into a flame, and her desire to learn more led her to many workshops and trainings with notable teachers. Addie is the graduate of two 300-Hour advanced trainings: the Yapana Yoga program with Leeann Carey and the Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She has extensively studied Yin Yoga, through teacher training with Bernie Clark, as well as workshops and retreats with Sarah Powers and Paul Grilley. Addie is also a graduate of the Mindfulness Facilitator Training at InsightLA. Over the years, she has taught in studios, parks, gyms, offices, meditation centers, and online, bringing yoga to students of all levels and backgrounds. She has specialized in making yoga work for students with a range of special conditions and injuries, and in highlighting the meditative aspects of the yogic path.
