I loved this course so much that it changed how I think about yoga and healing and my future yoga career. I went on to take part 2 in person.

About Susan Alden

As a C-IAYT, my focus has been on supporting service members and veterans suffering from PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury, individuals recovering from sexual trauma and caregivers.

In addition to the foundational, evidenced-based trainings I've received in the West, I've been trained in India by Master Anand Mehrotra.  I'm honored to bring forth the Himalayan traditions of Kriya, Naad, Kundalini, Laya, Hatha Vinyasa and Meditation.

In addition to these ancient practices, my events integrate my training and experience in other modalities such as Mana Lomi, Ho'oponopono, The Native American Medicine Wheel, Hula and iRest® Yoga Nidra.  Additionally, I have expertise in Functional Nutrition and Nutrigenomics.

From 2015-2019, I served as a faculty member and the Executive Director of Warriors at Ease,  a non-profit organization committed to sharing evidenced-based, trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation to military and veteran communities.
