About Susan Alden

Susan Alden, E-RYT, C-IAYT is the Executive Director of Warriors at Ease and serves as a lead teacher for all levels of Warriors at Ease teacher training.  Susan is a West Point graduate and Army veteran who has been teaching yoga in the military community since 1997.

Warriors at Ease is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that trains yoga and meditation teachers and provides outreach to the veteran and military communities.  The worldwide community of Warriors at Ease teachers share evidenced-based, trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation practices on military installations, in veteran healthcare facilities and in local communities across the globe.

Warriors at Ease has a two part certification process.  Level 1 is a 30 hour, self-paced online course offered through Yoga International.  Level 2 is an in-person teacher practicum offered throughout the year at various location in the U.S. and abroad.  In addition, Susan and the Warriors at Ease faculty annually host an in-person training where trainees can take both Level 1 & 2 over the course of a weeklong immersion at the Sivananda Ashram in Nassau Bahamas.
