Kamini Desai PhD is the Director of I AM Education, former Executive Director of the Amrit Yoga Institute, author of Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep, Life Lessons Love Lessons, and developer of the Yoga Nidra App: I AM Yoga Nidra. For the last 30 years Kamini has taught worldwide including Holland, UK, Iceland, Belgium, Denmark, India, Austria, France, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico and throughout the US and Canada.
Kamini is considered and expert in the inner sciences of Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and artful living. She is known for her unique contribution combining eastern spirituality with western psychology and science.
In 2013 she was awarded the title “Yogeshwari” in recognition for her keen ability to bring ancient illumination to the genuine challenges of the human experience.
Kamini’s corporate clients have included Bahamas Princess Resorts, Kellogg’s, KEDS, Sony, Mars Confectionary and more. She is one of three Founding Directors fo the University of Yoga and Ayurveda with Dr. Vijay K Jain, MD and Dr. Shekhar Annambhotla.
