About Nick Hu

胡堂智(Nick),身兼藝術與瑜珈工作者,有豐富的舞台劇演出、舞蹈及健身有氧經驗,而後進入瑜珈的教學與練習。

 

Nick Hu is a theatre and yoga specialist who possesses onstage, dance and aerobic exercise experience. He later took up yoga practice and teaching.

 

由於紮實專業的戲劇培訓,Nick上課時總能使無形的精神活動、情感,透過有形的形式傳達給學生。豐富多元的肢體訓練,能運用適切的技巧,幫助學生打開覺知、審視身體的正位。

 

With extensive theatre training, during class, Nick has unlimited energy and compassion and utilizes various method to interact with his students. With plenitude of training, Nick is able to fine tune precise techniques to help his students be more body aware and more observant of their body positioning. 

 

由於跨領域舞蹈 拳擊 有氧 瑜珈 多元化的教學;深深的感受體適能運動對於身體的耗弱之大,所以更加的注重修復跟療癒的伸展按摩練習,更理所當然的在教學上特別注重每個動作的穩定性,預防運動傷害。

 

Incorporating multiple elements in his teaching, Nick employs dance, boxing, aerobics and yoga techniques. He understands the toll that exercise can exert on the body so he emphasizes restorative and stretching and massage practices. As an instructor, Nick also looks out for the core stability of each movement of his students in order to prevent athletic injuries.

 

幼年及青少年時期的佛學生活經驗及禪宗的修習,Nick 老師總有能力在幽默詼諧的語氣下,幫助同學進入一種平靜、安定的狀態,希望藉由自己的經驗,在安全穩固的基礎上,讓學生打開心面對自己身體,療癒舊傷、最後達到身心平和。

 

During his youth, Nick studied Buddhist beliefs and zen meditation which has impacts on his teaching pedagogy. He is able to use humor and positive vibes to communicate and interact with his students, helping them to reach a peaceful, stable state. He hope his students open their heart to face their own bodies, old wounds and achieve peace of mind, through their own experience, on the foundation of security and stability.
