I've spent the past eight years doing little other than teaching and studying the delightful stories of the Puranas, the mind bending philosophies of Patanjali, the eerily predictive map of the Self offered in Jyotish, and the emotionally transformative music from India.
I'm absolutely captivated by India. Smitten. And the deeper I go the more clearly I see how desperately we need true ancient wisdom in our modern world.
I'll be stationed in Carrboro, NC until December 2018 and then will begin a life of traveling to teach where my service is needed, as well as offering an assortment of online trainings. I do lead annual Temple Tours in India and have developed 800 hours of Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum focused on Bhakti, Storytelling, and Philosophy.
I'm eager to shed light on these wisdom systems with sincere seekers interested in moving beyond the industrialized yoga of America. We truly can mend the cultural appropriation of yoga by way of learning and understanding this Indian wisdom contextually and culturally as Indian.
