Susana Laborde-Blaj, a certified E-RYT 500 Viniyoga ™ teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider YACEP, began to practice yoga in 1992.
In 1996, she did her first Teacher Training with Federico Enriquez, Indra Devi’s student, and has been teaching Yoga classes and workshops ever since, both in Mexico and in the United States.
After arriving in Oregon in 2008, she continued her education with a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification at Portland’s Amrita, a Sanctuary for Yoga, followed by one year of apprenticeship.
She has been studying with her teacher, Gary Kraftsow, founder and director of the American Viniyoga Institute since 2012, graduating in 2015 as a Viniyoga ™ Teacher.
Susana teaches many group classes, mostly in Lake Oswego, Oregon, as well as workshops, series, private instruction, and is now offering Viniyoga Retreats in Guanajuato, Mexico.
She infuses her classes with poetry and humor, and emphasizes in awareness on breath, mindful asana, pranayama & meditation.
