About Keely Totten

Keely Totten, E-RYT 500. Teacher / Educator / Mentor

Through a clear and practical approach, Keely specializes in guiding students on their own journey toward inner joy, freedom, self-healing and spiritual growth.

Keely has trained in Hatha Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda. Her teaching style is inspired by alignment-based Hatha Yoga, Para Yoga, and the individualized approach which empowers students on their own journey of self-healing. She is skilled in advanced techniques of pranayama, kriya, and meditation. She was initiated into the Sri Vidya Tradition in 2014 and continues to study with her current teacher, Yogarupa Rod Stryker, in the well-respected Para Yoga Master Training Program.

Additionally, Keely currently studies Clinical Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda. Having had her own remarkable health revolution using the principles of Ayurveda, Keely is dedicated to sharing the teachings and empowering others to find the same return to optimal health and freedom from discord.

Keely owns a private yoga studio in Sierra Madre, CA. She offers continuing education for yoga teachers and conducts destination retreats and specialized workshops.  Previously, from 2013 -2017, Keely co-taught and assisted in Yoga Madre’s Teacher Training programs. She taught in the 200 hour program and served as a mentor in the 300 hour advanced program.  During that time, she assisted to refine the content of the foundational training and served as a knowledgeable point person in support of all.

You can also catch her weekly article in the San Gabriel Valley local paper, Mountain Views News: Yogic Wisdom for Everyday Life.

When she's not teaching or studying, you can find Keely enjoying a hike on the trail, traveling with her family, having good laughs with friends, and finding reasons to be grateful for the miracle of life.
