Meditation teacher training was unlike any other course I have taken before. Highly recommend and looking forward pursuing this long term.

Excellent content! I wish I had been given this training in my 200 level course. Melanie is amazing and, as a previous studio owner, she knows the business of yoga.

About Melanie Yetter

Melanie Jabul Yetter, Founder of Open Door
Principal Meditation, Mindfulness, and Breath Work Teacher for the
Open Door Teacher Training School (RY
S)

I am a Meditation and Dharma teacher in the Zen Buddhist tradition as well as in Insight Meditation (Vipassana). I was trained and ordained as a Buddhist monk while attending seminary, and am currently enrolled in the Mindfulness Facilitator Program at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. I also have the great honor of being mentored by Josh Korda of Dharma Punx NYC. It is my pleasure to provide Spiritual Counseling in both group settings and one-on-one meetings. Each week, my Great Students and I share Dharma Lessons, Meditation Training, Mindfulness Education, Prānāyāma (breath work) Exercises, and Community Building.

I am an E-RYT 500 / YACEP®, and Director of Open Door's Meditation and Yoga Teacher Training School (RYS). I was trained and certified as a Yoga Instructor by Pranava Yogadhama’s master teacher and founder, Jayakumar Swamysree, in Mysore, India. My focus and specialty training includes Meditation, Prānāyāma, Sanskrit Chanting, Asana, and a Traditional South India practice.
