Danielle started practicing yoga while she was in college in 1995 and immediately fell in love with it. Since that time she has never stopped practicing!
Her curiosity has led her to a variety of Yoga styles and traditions including Kripalu, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Tantric Hatha , as well as most recently Body Awake Yoga. She has been teaching since 2006 when she completed her initial teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga in New York City with Lea Kraemer (Yoga Alliance 200h).Danielle has also done extensive training in Ayurveda "the sister science of yoga " with a focus on learning how nutrition and lifestyle changes can be used to positively influence our energy and well being, as well as preventatively.
Danielle continues to immerse herself in continuing education in the fields of Energy Medicine and Bioenergetic approaches to health, healing and integrating this work with yoga and meditation ( after the Morter Institute under Dr. Sue Morter). As well as in other trainings in collective healing, trauma sensitivity, integration and awakening support.
Danielle is originally from Boston, Massachusetts but has been living in Switzerland since she relocated from New York in 2009. She now resides happily with her family in Olten. She teaches in English and German.
