I grew up loving the ocean and redwoods of Santa Cruz, CA and moved to Bozeman, MT after college to explore new adventures in the mountains with my husband Sam. My yoga journey started in high school PE where I learned how to quiet my mind and breathe in sync with my body. Having a safe space on the mat to heal and connect with myself was vital at that time in my life, and my mission as a teacher and educator is to provide that same support to my clients.
I have been teaching public classes and private lessons for 7 years as an RYT 500 yoga instructor and I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Exercise Trainers Association. My training to be a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner will be completed soon, and I truly believe that working through old trauma that might be stored in the body can increase both our physical and mental health.
