Born in Argentina, South America, Karina loves travelling and learning from different cultures. She first began studying administration and accountancy at the National University of San Luis in Argentina. She then went to Spain to continue her studies and obtained her Masters degree there. In 2006 she moved to Taiwan to study Chinese and attended the International Master in Business Administration at Ming Chuan University.

She completed the Teachers Training Course and Advanced Teachers Training Course at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers, in Austria and India respectively. She is E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance registered. She also completed her training as Pranayama Teacher at KaivalyaDhama, Lonavla, India and she did additional teacher training courses as Ashtanga with David Swenson and Universal Yoga with Andrey Lappa. She also did yoga immersions and workshops with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor.

She did Sanskrit studies in 2004 at the Sivananda School in Spain with Swami Krishnananda and Swami Kaylasananda. Later, she deepened her studies in Mysore, India.

Her spiritual name given by the acharyas of the Sivananda School is “Prema”. It means “Divine Love”. She feels this is an important reminder of her goal in life. No matter cultures, ages, gender, social conditions… “LOVE” is all there is. Divine Love is unconditional Love, Love without any expectation to receive anything in return.

Her main purpose in life is to serve as an instrument to pass on the Yoga Teachings she has received. Om Tat Sat
