My yoga journey has only just begun and it will be a lifelong journey. 

I started my teacher training journey in the fall of 2009 when I needed an instructor for my health studio.  Living in a small town far from the major cities posed a problem in finding an instructor, so I decided to take it on myself! I was content with the Basic Asanas for many years. In 2012 I decided to commit to finishing out the 200 RYT training through Namaskar Studio in Saskatoon and the knowledge that I am now able to share with others is a Godsend and I feel blessed.  

My passion for yoga and sharing it with others has developed strongly in the past year while taking the RYT course. I now have a broader appreciation for what can happen to one's self physically and spiritually through the yoga practice.  

After being asked to my kid's school to show the children yoga, I now can see how EVERYONE can benefit from yoga and it is my mission to get yoga into the local school division on a regular basis. And hopefully, yoga will end up in all schools one day, because when children are taught the principles of yoga at an early age, the world will be a different place!!
