Lila Lolling is an accomplished yoga philosophy presenter, teacher trainer, and earth empath who carries in her heart a passion for passing down the traditions of ancient yoga and the natural world to as many people as possible. She is the author of Walking the Ancient Path of Yoga, a devotional story of conquest via the lens of Raja Yoga, the eight-limbed path.
For 20 years, Lila has inspired people around the world to use yoga and nature as tools for personal + planetary transformation. Having used them herself to remain seizure-free for the past 19 years, she has direct experience of their numerous benefits. This turned her curiosity into passion and passion into purpose.
Lila has been featured in Yoga Journal & Yoga International for her social justice work and allyship within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to make yoga more accessible. In 2018, Lila addressed the world's dignitaries at the United Nation's International Day of Yoga on the topic of yoga and world peace.
Her primary source of yoga education is through the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres. Her earth studies formalized as a graduation from Omega Institute's Ecological Literacy Immersion Program in 2018. She continues to study permaculture and climate change initiatives through Omega, Pachamama Alliance and Drawdown.
You are likely to hear Lila talking about the possibility of reversing climate change, or sharing a yoga 'fun fact', or telling you a new eco-action she's doing or a movement to join. She has a passion for spreading the hopeful message about how yoga can be a form of climate action.
