She received her certification from Feel Your Best (FYB) in Mequon, WI whose philosophy is the “Person the Pose.” Upon graduating in 2005, she began teaching a gentle, benefits-oriented teaching style that incorporates Iyengar (alignment), Ashtanga (power), Viniyoga yoga. She continues her yoga education through personal study, workshops conferences. To give back, she donates her service and talents at Yoga Journal Conferences around the USA.
Cynthia’s hatha yoga classes focus on coordinating breath and movements as well as providing modifications to ensure student safety. She teaches classes in a non-traditional manner by encouraging conversation and individual discovery so each student may make the yoga practice their own. As a teacher, she considers herself a guide – igniting students to have “a-ha” moments that will serve them well both on and off of the yoga mat.
She is also an Personal Trainer, a Group Fitness Instructor and NETA certified Wellness Coach. She works with clients on their fitness journeys to lose weight, build strength and endurance, reduce stress, discover functional fitness, and reach individual personal goals.
