Val is an advanced Kripalu Yoga teacher who specializes in mindful Hatha, Yin and Gentle yoga for all ages and body types. She teaches in Media, Newtown Square and Bryn Mawr. Val also has private yoga clients in the area who appreciate the experience and wisdom that comes from over 500 hours of training and 2000 hours of teaching classes.
Val started yoga in her 40’s for her physical well being, without realizing how much the practice of yoga would transform not only her body, but her mind and spirit as well!
As a professional life coach Val also brings a coach approach to her teaching - bringing empathy and encouraging each person to tap into their inner wisdom and connecting with their true selves on and off the mat.
Val says that through yoga, she has become stronger, healthier, more confident, calmer and more loving in all areas of her life. Yoga has been there for her in the ups and downs of life and continues to be an inspiration and a practice that brings connection, acceptance and joy. This is what she wants for each person who comes to her classes.
