It is my heartfelt belief that yoga should have no goal other than to connect our body and our breath together so that our minds can feel released from its constant chatter.

Through 20+ years of yoga practice and over a decade teaching, I’ve explored the strength and flow of ashtanga yoga as well as alignment based and anatomically focussed practices. My appreciation of this art lies in the scope of the philosophy of how the human mind interacts with our physical form. Today my practice and teaching is a synthesis of functional movement, psychology and yogic philosophy, with an emphasis on gentleness infused with a dose of challenge.

My greatest pleasure is being wife to my wonderful husband and mama to my three girls. When not on the mat you can find me driving my kids around, reading (mostly about yoga and psychology), cooking and sewing.
