Cecile Payne is an Experince Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Coming from a biology background Cecile holds a master's degree in biology and physiology.
After traveling the world for two years, She was introduced in 2001 to ashtanga by Sheridan Hammond (founder of Samudra) and was inspired by his enthusiasm. For 5 years she studied with Graeme Northfield (certified by Shri K Pattabhi Jois) and learn more about the system of ashtanga Yoga and experience the full benefits of a daily practice and acquires solid foundations .
From that time her desire to share the practice and experience of yoga leads her to teach and open the ashtanga yoga Antibes school .
she also worked for some times with the Iyengar teacher Christan Pisano and learn about body alignment.
For the last 5 years, Cecile fell very privileged to have be able to study under the guidance of two wonderful teachers.
Richard Freeman who she is very grateful for bringing a depth to her practice , and and to Shri O P Tiwari a master in Pranayama and genuine, humble person . By their teaching she understood that yoga is not only the practice on the mat, yoga is to take your practice with you into your daily life, yoga is to lives with others, be able to be nonjudgmental and be grateful.
Cecile has done several vipassana 10 days silent retreat practices daily meditation.
