Katie Heinrich has been practicing yoga for almost 30 years and has accumulated over 15 years of teaching experience. Her diverse Hatha Yoga background includes traditions of Sivananda, Kripalu, and Iyengar. In 2003, she began her main practice of the Ghosh Tradition (aka Bikram Yoga). Shortly after, she received training in vinyasa and yin styles. Katie is a mother of three (3) children and enjoys helping yogis through the preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum journey. Her teaching style integrates physical alignment, mindfulness meditation, and yoga philosophy. In addition to her yoga background, Katie is adept at teaching a variety of fitness classes.
Katie Heinrich also teaches meditation, yoga philosophy, and a variety of workshops for teachers and students. She aims to integrate multiple facets of knowledge into a yoga practice so that practitioners can find steadiness and comfort in each moment. She is also an experienced Shamanic Practitioner and Reiki Master. She has completed her first year of Yoga Therapy training.
