A little about me: I have a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) specializing in best educational practices. I am a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and hold these credentials and designations: E-RYT 500, YACEP. I've been teaching yoga since 2004 and have practiced for over 30 years. I have several credentials and certifications which allow me to diversify private practices based on clients' interests. Whether you want a practice for building strength, flexibility, and endurance or prefer a slow, mindful practice that combines meditation, I have the background and skills to help you find the perfect and unique practice for you.
I know from my own experience and from working with colleagues in public schools as well as with teachers through the pandemic that women in midlife have many stressors: full-time careers and full-time motherhood, taking care of kids and elders at the same time, jobs that can be demanding, work environments that can be toxic, injuries, surgeries, complicated relationships . . . I understand and have been there! I see you! I can share the benefits of mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and creativity. I continue to teach student art teachers and offer professional development to teachers in MA and CT. I have been an art teacher for over 20 years, and my current research passion is the connections between neuroscience, the arts, yoga, and meditation. I have a wealth of resources I would love to share with you!
