Gina Weddle (E-RYT 500), is celebrated for her light-hearted, authentic and integrative approach to teaching alignment-based yoga. Specializing in beginners, seniors and gentle yoga, Gina is sought out for her ability to make complex practices safe and accessible.
In 2003 while desperate for relief from lower-back injuries, Gina became a dedicated yoga practitioner. Since then, she completed multiple teaching certifications in: Vinyasa Yoga (2007 and 2008) and Hatha Yoga in the Anusara Yoga style (2009). She has since gained certificates and taught: children, trauma informed youth, prenatal, seniors and yoga biomechanics. Her teaching skills reflect her focused studies with expert yoga biomechanics teachers Martin Kirk, Naime Jezzeny, Sue Elkind and Ellen Saltonstall. Gina’s studies in anatomy, posture, biomechanics and ergonomics (University of Derby and Colorado State University), drive her convictions to teach yoga as a mindful practice for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Gina’s goal is to provide tools for strength and everyday movement awareness on the mat which can easily be incorporate into life at work and home for better health with ease in body, mind and heart.
