Vidya Nahar is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-500). She has a Master of Science degree in Yoga. Principles and philosophy of yoga have been guiding lights for Vidya. Her teaching style is SARVANG (Spiritual and Rejuvenating, Veda-oriented, Awakening, Nourishing, Grateful) Yog. SARVANG also means all-encompassing / covering all aspects.
SARVANG Yog style initiated by Vidya Nahar incorporates Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga-Pilates Fusion, Kriya Yoga, joints and glands exercises, eye muscle movements, Yoga Facial, Pranayam, Meditation, Relaxation, Laughter Yoga, Chair Yoga, and much more.

Vidya has been practicing yoga on personal level for more than 40 years now and pilates for more than 35 years. She has been teaching yoga and pilates to kids and adults since 2004 in the northwest suburbs of Chicago through VYAYAM, which literally means exercise in Sanskrit. VYAYAM is also an acronym for Vidya's Yogasthal for Abworks, Yogasan, Aerobics and Meditation.
She loves to share her practice with her fellow practitioners. She teaches breath and postural awareness through her SARVANG Yog classes at VYAYAM and Buffalo Grove Fitness Center.
