In 2012, Tonya attended her first teacher training at the Glenmore Yoga & Wellness Center in Richmond, Virginia, receiving her 200-hour certificate in April 2013.
Immediately following, Tonya enrolled and graduated in May 2014 from Glenmore’s continued education programs, Yoga, Level I & II, meeting the requirements of Yoga Alliance’s 500-Hour designation.
Upon completion, she relocated to Denver, Colorado, in the summer of 2014. She taught in Downtown Denver for two years before building a six-and-a-half-year-strong yoga community in Cherry Creek, Colorado.
Tonya is committed to learning about and exploring yoga as she encourages others to move through life mindfully. Her goal is to offer guidance that achieves balance on all levels of being by empowering individuals to progress toward improved health through applying the philosophy and practice of yoga to everyday life.
