Tanya is honored to guide you in this ancient practice of finding peace and freedom in the mind and body. She is an experienced registered Yoga Teacher who has spent almost a decade studying the art and science of yoga, receiving her initial Teacher Training in 2009, and has over 500 training hours since. Additionally she holds a Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Her emphasis is on breath over anything else and her teaching is influenced by her studies in the Power, Vinyasa flow, Yin and Restorative styles of yoga. In Tanya's classes, you can expect an intelligent sequence of poses that also focus on alignment and a comfortable challenge. She is known for her ability and passion to lead, encourage and motivate students to extend the experiences they learn on their yoga mat, to their lives off the mat. She regularly hosts Workshops, Yoga Teacher Trainings and Retreats - self-care, mindfulness and fun are the hallmarks of her teaching methodology.
