Tamika has been teaching yoga in Australia and Hong Kong since 2004, and is currently running classes, workshops and Yoga Teacher Trainings in Hong Kong.
She is trained in Hatha Vinyasa with Louisa Sear, Prenatal Yoga with Janice Clarfield, and Postnatal Yoga with Dr Jean Byrne. Her main influences are the Ashtanga and Iyengar systems, and her teachings and understanding of the physical and energetic bodies are further enriched by studies in Shiatsu, TCM, and Yin Yoga.
Tamika's core practice is vinyasa yoga, a flowing, powerful and mindful approach. Her classes involve precision in alignment and technique to keep you safe and strong, while exploring and challenging perceived limitations to keep you flexible and inspired.
Tamika is also a trained Pilates instructor, a handstand fan, and a little bit of an anatomy nerd. She looks to sharing with you.
