With his partner Joleen they co teach RYT200 and RYT300 trainings in New Zealand. Their combined experience of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Anatomy, Philosophy, Mantra and teaching methods gives a vital and dynamic platform for students to lauch into teaching.

Steve makes sure that his classes allow the opportunity for students to express all the movements of the spine, and to FEEL the connected unity with which the wholeness of the body moves.
He has a particular fascination for fascial originated understanding of movement (whole Body movement and lots of Somatic - feeling - internalisation) PLUS spinal and nervous system health promoted by full and free movement of all the joints.
Steve has over 20 years of yoga experience and has been involved with yoga teacher trainings for 7 years. He has taught over 11,000 hours of classes and has the highest Yoga Alliance E-RYT500 classification, as well as being a 200 hour Yoga Alliance trained Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and an Aerial Yoga Teacher.
As a curious and open person, Steve is always seeking more yogic experiences and eager to expand his knowledge. He has had the benefit of studying and practicing with various teachers around the world of many yoga traditions including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin, Hatha, and Power Yoga.
Steve lived and taught in Bali for 17 years before moving back home to New Zealand early 2018. He has also taught in Thailand, Spain, London and Pakistan. Steve has a relaxed but thorough style of teaching and a passion for Yoga Anatomy and Philosophy.
