Steph always has something on the go and is a very active person whether she is out for a hike, climbing, teaching fitness classes or running. She started taking yoga classes in 2004 when someone told her that it would be a great compliment to climbing, she was instantly hooked from the first class. After 4 years of developing her own practice she decided to obtain her Yoga Teacher Certificate in Costa Rica from the Nosara Yoga Institute and has completed her education as a Registered 500 hour Professional Yoga Educator. She is also a certified YogaDance Teacher, Pranassage Practitioner and Personal Trainer.
Steph's focus is on making fitness accessible and enjoyable, while helping her clients improve their overall health. Depending on individual goals and the client's fitness level, her exercise sessions may be comprised of advanced functional training, cardio conditioning, and flexibility. Her classes invite students to challenge themselves with humour and compassion, and to find their own practice through awareness of body, breath and mind.
