Rita Madou is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher trainings with approved and active Registered Yoga Schools (RYS) : Gokul Yoga (founded by Gokulacandra from Finland), Universal Yoga (founded by Andrey Lappa from Ukraine), Somachi Yoga (founded by Lianne Metcalf from Australia).
Rita Madou is also a YACEP, Continuing Education Provider.
She started Yoga since 1999 when she was living in Hong Kong. In 2010, she moved to Australia, and started teaching in 2012.
