Introducing Courtney, an Army brat turned yogi, who embarked on a journey from clinical research to the world of fitness instruction. Originally rooted in Germany, Courtney landed in Texas in 2002, and after earning a degree in psychology, she made a bold shift from the medical world to follow her passion for fitness.
Courtney's love affair with yoga blossomed in 2011 when she initially sought it for fitness and weight loss. However, it quickly evolved into something deeper than a workout routine. Yoga became a transformative journey for her, contributing to increased self-confidence and leading her to explore aerial fitness classes, where she discovered yet another passion.
In 2016, facing a significant injury that demanded reconstructive shoulder surgery, Courtney decided to return to her roots and pursue her yoga teacher certification. For her, yoga is not merely a physical practice but a holistic approach to healing both the body and mind. Drawing on her background in psychology, she seamlessly intertwines mental wellness with her fervor for fitness.
Recognizable by her signature pink hair and mat, Courtney has been sharing her unique style of yoga since 2017. As an ERYT 500-hour certified yoga teacher, she completed her 200-hour certification through Lotus Yoga and the advanced 300-hour certification through Samanova Yoga. In addition to her yoga expertise, Courtney holds certifications in beginner through intermediate pole fitness, beginner aerial lyra, and pole silks, showcasing her diverse commitment to somatic wellbeing. Join Courtney on the mat for a journey that extends beyond physical exercise, embracing the transformative power of yoga.
