“It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.” ~ Oriah Mountain Dreamer, The Invitation
Hey there, thanks for stopping by. My name is Cynthia Lennox and I am a proud Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I completed my 200 hour training specifically focusing on Vinyasa, however my passion for yoga does not end there.
I fell in love with yoga many years ago. The creativity of the flows, the strength building, the emphasis on mobility and flexibility – yoga has a little bit of something for everyone. It is challenging both physically and mentally and this is why I always come back to it. Unlike other ways of moving the body, yoga offers something a little more mindful, a little more connected. The practice of yoga allows you to ground yourself & reconnect with the world around you. It reminds us to breathe slowly and deeply both on and off the mat.
It didn’t take long for me to know I wanted to be on the other side of the mat, if you will. I knew in my heart of hearts that teaching was absolutely going to have to be the next step in my yoga journey. It offers a whole new set of rewards and challenges and I meet both with open arms. I am humble, curious, excited. I hope my passion for this craft can inspire you too.
