I came to yoga through having a running injury and after a few weeks of classes I started to notice changes to my mind was well as my body. Yoga made my mind quiet and I also began to see how some poses would make me smile to myself and others would help me release emotion.
After finding out how my physical body could help me heal mentally and grow spiritually I knew I had to learn more. This lead me to yoga teacher training, one of the most transformational parts of my life.
Once I had knowledge that I could help people I felt it was my duty to share it, I just had to find confidence inside myself and believe in my own abilities to stand in front of a class and teach. This was when I really had to connect into yoga practice, everything I needed I found within myself when I stepped on my matt and it is same today.
Yoga for me is always changing, it’s a constant journey and this is love love about it. I heard this quote about yoga recently it made me smile.
’If you know your body, you know the universe. The entire universe is inside your body, so must pay good attention to it’
As a teacher I want to guide people in finding their own magic and give them confidence in their abilities, both their mind and body.
