Neal has been practicing Yoga for seventeen years and teaching since 2003. He sees yoga as a map guiding us home to a place of peace and relaxed openness in each moment.

His primary teachers are Donna Farhi and Richard Miller. Neal’s teaching focuses on exploring and refining natural movement and alignment principles – learning to embody these principles in a way that takes our spiritual practice into our everyday lives.

Neal creates a safe and inviting space in which to learn and discover yoga as a balance between effort and effortlessness, structural alignment and organic fluidity, mindfulness and spontaneity.

His current studies include deepening his understanding of Donna Farhi's approach to natural movement principles, as well as studying iRest® Yoga Nidra with Richard Miller. Neal is also developing an in-depth understanding and a love of sharing Restorative Yoga.

Neal has taught on Yoga teacher training programs in Australia and New Zealand, and is currently part of the faculty on renown teacher Donna Farhi’s Advanced Teacher Training, and on Yoga Alliance programs at Contemporary Yoga, Auckland, New Zealand (www.yogateachertraining.nz).
