I've been teaching yoga since July 2014, right after completing a 200-hour teacher training. Two years later, I finished a 300-hour training with the same yoga school and instructor, which was a fantastic experience! My yoga approach is influenced by Jivamukti, thanks to my studies with a certified Jivamukti yoga instructor (though I'm not certified in it myself).
I teach different levels of yoga, such as hatha yoga basics, slow gentle flow, and vinyasa flow. We often practice pranayama (breathwork) and meditation for relaxation and focus. Sometimes, I like to start or end classes with chanting and playing the harmonium to create a unique and inviting atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to join in and explore beyond their comfort zones.
Teaching yoga brings me immense joy. I love sharing various aspects of yoga, like philosophy, Hindu myths, the yoga sutras, and inspiring quotes from my extensive collection of yoga books. It's also fulfilling to introduce students to the yogic lifestyle, share the knowledge I've acquired and observe their transformative progress on their mats. It's such a wonderful and rewarding experience for me!
