For me yoga started as a release from everyday life, a way to relax, heal and test the limits of my body. As a mom of four, I not only wanted to look good but feel good and Biggest Loser Yoga was my go to for flexibility, weight loss, tone, release and relaxation.
After many years of continued struggle with my weight I realized that I needed more and yoga offered more. Yoga offered me clarity, understanding, discipline, and even a connection with my family. I realized that I had the ability to connect with and share with others my real-world experience and knowledge because those experiences were my greatest teacher and friend.
With those difficulties in weight management, parenting, married life, and so much more, I also had injuries that I had the ability and pleasure of healing. Those things have afforded me so much happiness, growth and knowledge that I happily pour into my yin and restorative practices so that I may help all those that I come in contact with.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
