My 4 year degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (Health Promotion and Clinical Physiology) plus 5 years working in chronic disease management, aged care, and musculoskeletal rehab, my classes are therapeutic in nature. My teaching style emphasises the importance of fine tuning your biomechanics and anatomical alignment to not only help you move better, but build an awareness and understanding of your own body. I incorporate elements of trauma informed yoga to support practitioners with stress management, offering mind-body practices that help regulate the nervous system.
