Alice Zheng, a dedicated 500-hour registered yoga teacher, began her transformative journey into yoga in 2020 under the influence of her mother. In May of that year, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alice's passion for yoga led her to establish the Joy Yoga online studio. With a noble aim of providing free yoga classes, she sought to offer individuals at home an opportunity to practice and find solace. Over time, Joy Yoga has evolved into a thriving community, attracting hundreds of students on a collective path of growth. As Alice guides her students, she continues to delve deeper into the profound aspects of yoga.
In November 2021, Alice achieved a significant milestone by attaining a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, solidifying her commitment to the practice. Building on this foundation, she reached another pinnacle in May 2023, obtaining a 500-hour yoga teacher certification. With this achievement, Alice has declared her lifelong dedication to the practice of yoga, viewing it as a choice that will shape the rest of her days.
Beyond her yoga journey, Alice's love for movement originated at the age of 11 when she commenced her studies in dance. For over a decade, she immersed herself in the dance industry, encompassing both learning and performing. The convergence of yoga and dance has brought immense joy to Alice's life. She not only relishes these practices personally but also finds great happiness in the opportunity to share them with others.
