Movement and Music ~ Yoga Harp Alignment: a unique approach to health and healing combining therapeutic movement through gentle yoga postures, intuitive harp music and energy field alignment.

I am a Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) and Holistic Harp Therapist.  I have practised yoga 25 for years and over 20 years ago began studying energy medicine, holistic therapies and vocal toning (healing through voice and sound) with The Academy of Spiritual Sciences.  During this time I bought a harp and was encouraged by my tutor, Carol Lamb, to teach myself to play the harp intuitively and create music by practising the Emerald Alignment.

Since becoming an Holistic Therapist and Teacher 19 years ago, I established Yoga Harp Alignment to teach Yoga, Intuitive Harp Lessons, offer Harp Therapy (Music Medicine), create Intuitive Harp Music videos and albums, and perform Healing Music in Community Care sessions in 190 cares homes.

I integrated my experience with yoga, harp and energy alignment to offer Movement and Music: Yoga Harp Alignment both as Classes in Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK and Videos Online.  Classes incorporate gentle, manageable postures using props (blocks, straps, chairs and blankets) and are suitable for middle-age to senior age groups.

I have visited the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune, India, where I was taught by Geeta and Prashant Iyengar.
