Serena was born and raised in Padua, Italy, and the first time she participated in a Yoga class she was seventeen years old. She had just decided to end her competitive swimming career, and to try other disciplines, including Yoga. A few years after that experience, which lasted a few months, she met Carla, a Yoga teacher in Padua. She immediately became fascinated by her smile and her lightness, characteristics also of her teaching, and for years Serena followed her lessons.
For about twenty years, as a swimming instructor, she explored the dynamics of movement and sensations in water, trying to convey her passion to children and adults. Later, she wanted to dedicate herself to the study of the dynamics of the body on the ground, following training in Pilates matwork and Flexibility.
When she moved to Switzerland, she attended a Vinyasa Yoga class for the first time and it was love at first sight. Moreover, the need to know, explore and cultivate the spiritual world as well as the physical one grew in her. Therefore she undertook the Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and then continued with the training in Yin yoga.
For Serena, yoga has become a loving companion, helping her to discover herself and live harmoniously, connecting body, breath, mind and heart. So she wants to share this experience with other people, helping them to move in a harmonious way, listening to the sensations of their body, hoping to get them in touch with the truest, deepest and most conscious part of themselves.
