Verity came to yoga looking for something to help with migraines. Little did she know the role that yoga would play in mitigating pain, balancing out cycles of stress and living with compassion and purpose. Acknowledging the breadth of benefits that a yoga practice offers, she is passionate about supporting others to discover their own unique connection.
Verity teaches with a calm and warm presence, often bringing a sense of lightness (and maybe even a laugh), as she supports students to inquire, explore and play.
Verity deeply values the importance of creating a space for students to connect-in and be with themselves, whether that be through dynamic breath-led flows, pranayama or cultivating mindfulness through restorative and yin practices. She particularly enjoys creating a theme for each class that is woven throughout to offer students a way to drive intention through their practice and take whichever parts of this resonate into their life outside of the class.
Verity Paterson is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
