Maaike Waterschoot is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with Yogalife Belgium, a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Her training with Yogalife Belgium is in Hatha Yoga. Through RYS Arhanta Academy she has also become a certified Yin Yoga teacher, Meditation, and Breathwork teacher as well as a Holistic Health Coach for Women. As a holistic health coach, Maaike combines elements and principles of Ayurveda, yoga, breathing techniques and meditation to offer guidance and advice for healthy lifestyle, diet and exercise practices. Her focus is mainly on Moon Yoga which encourages students to embrace the cyclical nature of life and tune in with their body and mind during the different energetic phases of the month and year. In this practice, Maaike offers a divers range of yoga styles, including gentle hatha yoga, yin yoga, hatha yoga en yoga nidra. Her teaching style is calm, playful and intuitive.
