Christina has always been a nature lover and had a deep-rooted belief in the principle that humans and other living creatures are all connected to each other. She started practicing yoga in 2008 while studying for her degree in Conservation Biology, and was astounded at the huge improvements she noticed in her mental and physical health. After twelve years of personal practice, she decided to take the 200 hour yoga teacher training course through Higher Love Yoga Academy to explore a deeper understanding of the history, philosophy, and alignment principles of Yoga. What she learned there resonated deeply and confirmed that sharing this practice with others was the right path for her. Christina aspires to bring authenticity, connection, and light-hearted fun into her classes, while focusing on safe technique and mind-body-breath awareness. When she's not in the studio, she is likely enjoying her garden, hiking, biking, dancing, or spending time with friends, family, and her two cats.
