Alison Potts (E-RYT and YACEP) is a meditation teacher, teacher-trainer, coach, speaker, writer and owner of Innate Being and The Innate Being Meditation Lounge in Brisbane. Fomerly a radio producer at the BBC in London and Publicity Manager for the BBC’s Live Music Events, and with a degree in Comparative Religion, Alison has lived in Australia for 12 years, dedicating her work to teaching practices for greater self connection, self worth and thriving, including yoga, meditation and personal coaching. She runs sessions, workshops and retreats in Australia and overseas. She is a certified Yoga Alliance yoga teacher with Shri Yoga Teacher Training and has trained intensively, over three years, as a meditation and wellbeing coach with Lorin Roche PHD, and holds a Yoga Alliance 200 Hour certification in Meditation Teacher Training from his Pranava School of Meditation. Alison is also a graduate of Camille Maurine's Meditation Secrets for Women training.
She has developed her own approach to meditation, Innate Meditation, based on principles of compassionate self-welcome, somatic practice, nervous system education and heart. She has a trauma-sensitive approach, and is passionate about practices of self-connection, self -embrace and cherishing intuition and instincts. Her work facilitates people of all kinds to renew their love of life, thrive in their individuality and reclaim their innate sense of freedom, spontaneity and joy.
Her 130 Hours, YA-accredited Innate Being Teacher Training is offered annually, in person at Inna Bliss Yoga, Brisbane, Australia. Alison and is currently developing online offerings. Alison also offers one to one private meditation coaching by Zoom.
