Laura has been an avid yogi practitioner since 2008. She stumbled upon yoga when a friend invited her to a small class held at their workplace and she instantly fell in love. Since Laura was the only student who came back to the second class, she received an impromptu one on one session. The teacher was patient with this new student but was able to cue her into a Bird of Paradise posture. That was it, she joined a local gym that offered yoga classes and became a "regular attendee", participating in Hatha, Gentle, and Flow classes.
Laura has since practiced at many local studios, including Sol Yoga in Frederick, Md. and The Studio in Hagerstown, Md. She has also enjoys participating in non-traditional yoga classes, like Pug Yoga, Alpaca and Goat Yoga. She enjoyed a visit to the Kripalu Center in 2019 where she learned about Positional Therapy and Ayurveda. In 2020, Laura earned her Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200 and continues to share the love she found in yoga with others. Her nursing background provides the perfect foundation for a holistic approach to yoga and wellness.
