Oriental sports have always been my passion. After years of practicing karate, wu shu and tai chi, I discovered yoga in 2008. Since 2015 I have completed various yoga teacher trainings. I have completed a Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Hormone Yoga teacher training. Currently I'm in my fourth year of a 500hr Raja Yoga training. Also I followed additional trainings, such as Yin Yoga, functional approach by Paul Grilley, Qigong and currently specialize in Nutrition & Menopause.
In my lessons I pay a lot of attention to pranayama, the individual body and building up the inner strength. With a focus on the working of our nadi channels, chakras and hormone system. In short, I am an all-round trainer with a personal approach, because no one is alike.
Hanne van Nederveen Meerkerk is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
