Mira Amadea is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledge the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered School (RYS). She has been an Irish dancer for 20 years and a certified and registered Irish Dance Teacher (TCRG) and founded Rince Na Lisboa Academy of Irish Dance based in Lisbon, Portugal. Her main focus is on slow-paced yoga styles such as Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga and especially for Yoga for dancers and athletes. She is passionate about supporting her students to remember their own true nature and potential and self to build self-confidence and bringing focus, peace and harmony into every part of the daily life to build up a strong mind. As a young adult she has been a competitive Irish Dancer and attended Championships such as European and World Championships. During that time in 2008 she started to explore Yoga and practised and gained experience in techniques of stress-management such as Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR). As a dancer, Mira Amadea has always been always curious and fascinated with body movements and the mind-body connection. Her mission as dance and yoga teacher is to empower her students on their personal journey and raise awareness of their body/mind and their creative power of thoughts.
