It is said that Yoga is skill in action. It teaches us how to be strong, resilient, and how to take intelligent action.
The practice of Yoga is for me a source of inspiration and strength. I believe that lessons and experiences of the practice, on the mat, or in meditation, are very applicable to modern lifestyles. At the same time, as a mindfulness and attention training, Yoga teaches us how to be more mindful, connected, adaptable. Since my own practice has transformed over time, I believe that skill builds gradually, over time and with experience.
My intention in teaching is to hold a space of respect, a context and a container for understanding and transformation. My classes are interactive and adapt to different practice levels. They blend postures (asanas), elements of breathing techniques, movement, strength, stillness.
There are many teachers, communities and friendships who have inspired and helped me along my journey. I completed Alchemy of Flow and Form at the 500-hour Level (San Marcos Yoga, USA with Christina Sell and Gioconda Parker), Breathe Yoga (Toronto, Canada), YogaWorks (Walnut Creek, USA), Leslie Kaminoff’s YogaAnatomy, Judith Lasater's Relax and Renew, Archetypal Consulting - certification at CMED Institute, and participated in numerous workshops.
I currently live in Timisoara - Romania, and teach alignment-based hatha, hatha flow, yoga for fitness, restorative.
