Eleanor McGroarty is a dedicated yogi who works towards bringing holistic wellbeing and health to her life and to people around her. Eleanor has practiced within many domains of yoga and uses a variety of breath work, posture holdings, sequenced flows and meditation to foster physical and mental strength, control and enhanced functioning to her students. Working as a psychotherapist with extensive clinical and research training and experiences Eleanor brings forward the integration of psychological practices, theoretical knowledge and scientific understands of mind body connection to her yoga teaching. Eleanors work has focused on culture, in the widest sense of how multiple aspects of our identity intersect and impact the ways in which we understand ourselves and are treated by society, and she brings forward this comprehensive approach to yoga. Striving to make yoga accessible and relevant to people of all of identities, while maintaining an individualistic perspective, especially with a focus on ostracized people and populations. Eleanor is currently working giving community classes online and individual classes.
