I’m a certified RYT 200 yoga teacher from Yoga Tree, with a 50 hour specialization in yin yoga. I’m also a certified qigong teacher from IIQTC and have basic training in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).
I found yoga in 2017 when my health professional recommended yin yoga as a tool to help me through challenging health issues. My first class, I knew I found something that deeply called to me, in a way I’d never experienced before. Practicing yin yoga every week for several years allowed me to develop a positive relationship with my body and create space to respond with kindness toward health issues. Yoga helped me feel better.
As a yoga instructor my goal is to help people develop a better relationship with themselves and their bodies, in the same way yoga transformed me.
I like to teach mindful flow classes and yin/restorative classes, but I enjoy teaching variety of styles.
